Blue Velvet was actually a side project from the Ringlets Trio. They played in a similar clean neo-rockabilly style with some psychobilly influences on a couple of numbers.
They recorded one album in 1992 and released it in 1995 on Rumble Records ("Rockabilly Trio" RUMBCD019). It was made of classic covers (16 Chicks, Something I Said, Long Blonde Hair...).
